Organisational Offering
Cracking the Performance Paradox
Through my work over the last 20 years, I have been listening and developing an understanding of the challenges people face in organisations.
I have continually asked myself: what matters most and how can I best support individuals with the extraordinary as well as the everyday organisational challenges?
My work helps organisations to create workplace cultures where people can expand their capacity, increase their impact and focus without sacrificing their wellbeing.
This has led to a journey of continually honing my work to arrive at an offering I call ‘cracking the performance paradox’, supporting high performance culture where people can:
Overcome the interference to being able to think more strategically
Become more proactive, less defensive and more productively focussed
Create breakthroughs when feeling stuck, numb or overwhelmed
Feel a sense of purpose and meaning in every aspect of life
Exploring the joy of higher levels of energy in the workplace
Increase their capacity to be more present
Experiencing a greater sense of ease and the ability to have restorative sleep
What I call the ‘Performance Paradox’ works against all of the above. When the paradox is at play, the more people are committed to their work and striving to do their best, the more they can sometimes let go of what nurtures and energises them. Paradoxically, the less they have to give.
People can feel overwhelmed by a never ending to-do-list which leaves little time for reflection and recovery. People often say that they feel the need to constantly be available and it is hard to switch off from work. This is not a sustainable way of ‘doing business’; we can incur huge personal, relationship and organisational costs. Ultimately it can lead to burn-out and losing your best people.
I work with individuals, teams and organisations to crack the performance paradox -to create workplace cultures where people can befriend their nervous system and so expand their capacity without sacrificing their wellbeing.
It is not about building the resilience to be able to do more, it is often about developing more ‘discernment’ and re-evaluating our relationship with the rest of our lives and what fills us with joy.
I work with people to create healthy work rhythms -characterised by waves of activity and renewal, embedding practices which allow them to work at their best.

“I found the sessions that I did with Kerry to be really powerful. By sitting still and stopping, with Kerry’s help, I tapped into an inner calm that I often lose in my day to day life. On a deep level, I found an inner resource and strength that is enormously powerful. The simplicity and warmth of Kerry’s style is one of the core things that struck me. Her approach and ease, led me to find mine.”

What people say about workshops
“I have had the great honour and pleasure of being part of Kerry’s workshops over the last number of years. This work has had a transformational impact on my personal life and my professional work as a coaching psychologist. Kerry creates a safe, nurturing space for the group which enables personal growth, development and deep sharing. As well as being a wonderfully warm, authentic facilitator, Kerry has always impressed me with her commitment to provide evidence-based learning and is continuously focused on developing her own learning in new and innovative aspects of well-being and personal growth.”

“Thank you - it was wonderful. I saw so much of where I am at...but equally where staff are at”
-CEO
“It was great to be reminded of the small but important milestones we need to take during the day to manage our energy for our own benefit and the benefit of our teams”
-Workshop participant
“Very useful to see how the body will always be having its own build-up to stress, though you can be convinced you're not stressed at all. This is good in order to put in place time to check in with yourself so you're more aware of this as the body will know”
